I came to Ecuador to teach English without knowing any Spanish at all. Back in Finland I thought I'll just 'pick it up' by trying to use the language every day. However, after a while I realised how important it is to start learning Spanish with the help of a professional teacher. Luckily I met Jacson who offered to work as my teacher. My lessons were flexibly arranged according to my schedule. With the help of Jacson's explanations and examples I began to make my way through the grammar of Spanish. Besides the grammar, Jacson also payed careful attention to my pronunciation -the lessons were held in Spanish, of course- what I found extremely important. As a language teacher I know that one can learn to speak a language only by speaking and using the language actively. All in all, Jacson was always a very patient, helpful and supportive teacher and my lessons with him offered me positive and motivating learning experiences making it easy for me to continue developing and improving my Spanish skills on my own.

I loved taking surf lessons in Manta!  There was something magical about waking up at 5:30 in the moring, walking down to the beach while the sun was rising and swiming out to catch some waves.  I had never surfed before so Manta was the perfect spot to learn.  Our instructor, Jacson, was a great teacher and I had a blast every morning we surfed together.  I'm so happy I took surf lessons along with my spanish course.  It was a great way to start the day!!!

I had unforgetabe times in manta. People are very warm and friendly. The teachers are very patients with the students. I learned Spanish quickly when I took private lessons. Now i can watch Spanish programs and movies. I discovered a new world witch I didn’t t have access before
