A representative from the school can meet you in Manta at either the bus terminal, or the Manta airport, if requested at least two days in advance.
Flights between Manta and Quito are only 30 minutes long, inexpensive and frequent throughout the day. In 2006 flights were listed as low as 35 USD one way, all taxes included.
Guayaquil is an inexpensive bus ride away. The cost in 2006 was less than 10 USD. One can also take a taxi. The trip takes about 3 hours by bus. Buses leave frequently throughout the day. The bus terminal is less than 10minutes from the international airport in Guayaquil, approximately a 2-4 USD cab ride.
