The Marejada School is located in Manta, Manabi, which is in the centre of the Ecuadorian coast.
The Marejada School was created with the aim of training and improving people’s skills in an enjoyable, purposeful adventure, regardless of previous experience, physical abilities, or age.
Everyday, students improve themselves, learning more than just grammar off a blackboard; students use the language.
Manta is framed on the seaward side by two long, very fine grained sand beaches; these are filled morning and evening with runners, romantic couples, soccer and Ecua-volleyball teams. Brightly colored fishing boats pass offshore. During the day surfers and swimmers ride the waves, while ice cream, ceviche, mango and fresh coconut vendors line up their carts within easy access of sunbathers.
With Marejada School you can be one of those surfers! Walk half a minute away from the beach chairs for a quiet spot. The coastline near Manta has plenty of stunningly scenic, more secluded sandy surfing spots. Students in the surfing program at the Marejada School will have the opportunity to visit many surfing spots.
